
this happens to me a lot! for me it’s a combination of ocd (they’re doing behaviors that trigger me without knowing) and autism (similar concept) but i’ve also been told that depression can contribute to irritability, though i don’t know how that may manifest. could be worth thinking about what specifically is upsetting you and why that may be
for example, i get very irritated when my friends do things the way i wouldn’t do them, or if they do it Wrong. and i thought about it for a while and found out that it comes from my anxiety with perfectionism, needing everything to be done perfectly and efficiently so nobody gets upset because im terrified of people being upset around me. knowing WHY im irritated by things helps me calm down in the moment :)
