Does anyone else actively procrastinate their bodily needs because they’re too tired or too “lazy” or whatever? Cause I realized I haven’t eaten and I just don’t have it in me to try

Yes. Sometimes the effort it takes to eat isn’t there. Or I’ll wait to go to the bathroom until my bladder is literally cramping because I don’t want to get up or stop what I’m doing.

Most of the time I literally just forget, my body doesn’t alert me until I feel physical side affects, then I catch up and am like ohhh I didn’t do the thing I should’ve done a few hours ago

I struggle to wash my hair, brush my teeth at night, eat properly when I’m hungry, sleep when I’m sleepy, and yeah

No yeah it’s the never ending cycle of depression/executive dysfunction/chronic fatigue. I need to do this thing but because I haven’t done it yet it’ll be extra hard to do it. This is why my family pushes me to eat before I get low blood sugar cause then I’m both unable to feed myself and very uncooperative…

no fr and my body’s signals are so unreliable?? sometimes my stomach will growl like half an hour after i had a full meal, but then sometimes it’s 8pm and i realize the reason i’m shaking is because all i’ve consumed the whole day is a single cup of coffee

Bit niche but you could try a multivitamin personally I lost the whole chronic fatigue thing when I got on zinc and like 10-15 grams of creatine helps clear my head

yes actually. i have a hard time remembering this isn’t normal LMAO. sometimes my bodily cues will straight up change – I get nauseous instead of hungry now and have for years at this point

I have the same problem with the nausea. I had a few times in college where I waited so long that I did end up throwing up 😭

I just spent all day yesterday cooking from this meal prep cookbook (Once-a-Month Cooking, it’s definitely targeted at moms but I have to mother myself sometimes) and my whole freezer is stocked up now so we’ll see if I survive this early 2000s white cooking
