Either ppl won’t know what I’m talking about or will be VERY angry but god damn even though I stand by pro-para principles, the community is awful. Tell me why I found a minor who is publicly talking about how they want to be groomed. This kid needs help

Like yes I don’t believe people with paraphilias are inherently bad as long as they’re not acting on their attraction in a way that causes harm. But i feel like a minor talking with adults about sexual topics and saying they want to be groomed is a clear sign something is very very wrong

!! right there with you, OP. I’m very “pro-kink” & I have a couple friends who self-describe as pro-para, but I don’t engage with the community itself because there’s just too much that I feel complicated about that’s one of the only social climates I’ve ever encountered wherein people actually carry out conversations about practical non-carceral CSA prevention tactics rather than just parroting “kill all pedophiles”, though. which is extremely important. and I say this as a CSA victim myself

I’m afraid for that kid though. I remember what it was like to think I wanted that—def not their fault. one way or another I hope they find some other way to spend their time online, even if that’s just discussing problematic shit with people their own age
