Yah it’s pretty normal for cats to do that at closed doors, but it is annoying, especially if it’s not even your cat. Maybe she considered night to end when she wakes up and you need to ask her to keep the cats in her room until the time you get up? It’s difficult to find a solution if she gets upset and defensive though. I hope you work it out :(
I am always self-conscious of my cat doing that because she’s a pretty vocal old lady who acts like she’s queen of all things apartment, so I’d do everything I could to prevent that from happening. If it’s around the cat asking for breakfast, then she should wake up earlier to accommodate for that [and go back to sleep for another hour like I do lol].
This is going to sound really bad but I’d recommend training the cats to dislike you. Try walking around loudly and doing loud things, ignore their personal space as you do your day-to-day (walking close by them fast and loud), and never ever give them attention. Do things they dislike without being actively malicious towards them and they’ll stop bothering you, instead avoiding you. I did this unintentionally with my roommate’s cat and I’m the only one it doesn’t bother.
