Just start talking about traits/symptoms you have in common and mention how they’re because of autism. You don’t have to be explicit about you having the traits in common but after a while if she doesn’t get it then you can start being more explicit

if they’re a person who makes a lot of jokes/values humor, great - they’ve probably already self diagnosed. if it’s a functional thing- like they won’t get it, then nah it’ll buff out. if you’re in a spot where you can make shifts though to make things easier for them without needing a diagnosis, then that’s the sweet spot.

In a private setting, or one on one with her in a public place where nobody pays attention to everyone else, let her know, “hey, I’m sure you know I have autism, right? Well, you’ve been displaying a lot of characteristics and behaviors that autism is known to cause. I think you might be able to make your life easier if you find out for sure”

Yes I have been doing that already but she has not picked up on the cues

If you’ve gotten more explicit and it’s still not working you could also do the “haha let’s take these tests for fun to compare”

That is for her to decide. The most you should do is talk about your experience with her and tell her if your diagnosis has been beneficial, how you’ve been impacted by it.

I’d appreciate it bc I’m like 99% sure I have it but I feel like a faker
