in my experience a job is way easier because you’re doing it for someone else not yourself. there’s a tangible 3rd party who gets upset if you don’t do things which is a very immediate motivating factor while school punishments are farther away, personal, and often more conceptual

Slack off as much as you can at school bc they let you get away with wayyyy more than a full time job. You sleep in once and you get written up, no warming. 3 strikes and you’re out. It sucks ass

I'm struggling with the same thoughts, I'm considering changing fields so I can have a job with lighter and more flexible hours because I know I'm unreliable and unproductive 😔

I’m very burnt out, stress is no longer a motivating factor and I’m at a point where I just collapse under the first sign of it. I need like. At least a gap year, but I don’t know if it’s even possible

I think you just have shitty bosses tbh. My work never write people up for being late.

this doesn’t work when your professors are lawyers and you’re going to school to be a lawyer lmao they’d laugh in my face if I said they didn’t know the industry
