I hate so much how cluster b personality disorders have become the Bad Person disorders when it’s infinitely more complicated than that

I don’t think people with bpd make people bad but people with npd… scary. I’ve been abused by 3 people with it they lack empathy and are selfish which results in scary actions without remorse:/ dangerous people it’s tragic how they became to be that (trauma)

Ok so that was people using npd as an Excuse for their bad behavior. Npd isn’t the magical abuser creating disorder people make it out to be and horrible people with npd aren’t horrible BECAUSE of npd they’re horrible because they’re bad people

yea exactly, i feel like it’s quite the generalization to say every person or even most people with a given mental disorder is a bad person….

Idk, man. I think that heavily stigmatizing NPD as all being abusive monsters contributes the ones that aren’t not sharing their diagnosis and even not seeking help for managing how to be their healthiest self (for themselves and other people). The bad thing is the abuse, not people with or without diagnoses. Sadly, even people that either call themselves empaths or actually are empaths can also hurt people. :(
