Does listening to music help? It’s always helped me (to the point I just bought Bluetooth hearing protectors because I got overstimulated working on a ship last week). The way my overstimulation works (might be different for you) is a factor of chosen vs involuntary. Teppenyaki (loud, noisy food cooked in front of you)? Absolutely fine because I chose it. Them park ride stopped in a show scene with sounds? I have a nervous breakdown from the overlapping, repetitive sounds that I chose… (1/2?)
