I have a few thoughts. 1, you were frustrated because you tried to draw a boundary that your friend didn’t respect. 2, you are different people. 3, you can learn from this experience, the correct answer isn’t that you should force your friend to adhere to this specific boundary if it doesn’t work for them, but maybe that you shouldn’t attempt to write with them around.
