I think it functions similarly to being anorexic, where if you aren't eating that much while on adderall it still sends your body into an anorexic state (even if that's not your intent) and when you being wanting to eat normally again when you don't take it, your body wants to hold onto all the calories to rebuild its energy stores(aka fat)

I’m gonna bring it up at my next appointment but I just wanted to ask around in the meantime. I know appetite can increase when you stop taking it but that doesn’t feel right. Im eating slightly more than I was but not enough to just keep gaining weight the way I am :(

my sister experienced severe weight gain and ended up changing her meds bc of it, but i didn’t have that effect, i think it goes case by case
