I hate it when there aren’t subtitles like what specific part of the screen am I supposed to look at?

“BuT i CaN’t ReAd AnD wAtCh” So then don’t read, just watch. I can’t watch without reading so the accessibility stays there.

I’m the opposite. I can’t focus on both at once and I have a reading disability so I make sure they’re off or I’ll only be looking at them and not seeing anything else 😭🥀

I can’t read and watch but I leave them on if I’m with someone who needs them because it would just be rude of me to leave them off just cuz I don’t like them

A lot of ND folks struggle with media because of APD. Having captions (not craptions!) helps us follow dialogue and not lose out on information because of awful sound mixing, conflicting voices, poor elocution, etc etc.

Sometimes alotta voices blend together as one sound that’s harder to distinguish between

Sensory processing disorder can make it hard to just listen to some thing without subtitles. And sensory processing disorder is considered to be a neurodevelopmental disorder
