I recommend finding some kind of activity you’re interested that forces interaction and sticking with it. My girlfriend likes dance, I do martial arts, a friend of mine is really into DnD, and there are plenty of other choices, music, improv, theatre, filmmaking, volunteering, language classes, whatever you’re interested in. Eventually you’ll make friends, you just gotta stick with it. And you have to already be interested in it, so that you WANT to go, friends or not.

The most pain was being the only one invited to the bachelorette party, sleeping at the house with the wedding party, doing everything possible for the bride, and yet being the only one in the friend group NOT in the wedding party or invited to the rehearsal dinner.
