What are some easy beginner meals y’all like to cook? My bf (AuDHD), wants to learn how to cook but doesn’t know where to start and feels stuck & overwhelmed with everything. He doesn’t eat fish or red meat (occasionally meatballs or spaghetti w/meatsauce

Tofu is a really good source of protein. So are mushrooms. Both are relatively easy to make and can be seasoned and paired with other dishes.

ah well it’s not like rlly fancy. but i am obsessed with pasta. i make so many different pastas for dinner almost every night hahaha. but my fav that isn’t just plain spaghetti with sauce is angel hair pasta, alfredo that i heat up in a separate pot where i add whatever seasonings im feeling (usually garlic powder, onion powder, & pepper. paprika if im feeling it too sometimes). then i add broccoli (frozen bag) to the sauce, and i also add rotisserie chicken bites. the chicken bites are also

A go to for my family is kielbasa sausage with barbecue sauce and roasted sweet potatoes, rice, and black beans. It’s really easy and your boyfriend could leave off the sausage and it’ll still taste good

Cooking is really hard for me, so I mostly buy frozen food at Costco. But, when I have the time to cook, I like to do stir fry. There’s no wrong way to do it, but I’m always smoked after doing any kind of meal prep.

i recently learned how to make burgers! you can use whatever meat you prefer. i also get premade patties to make it even less steps. all you do is cook the burger and then toast the bun :)

also pasta meals are super easy! you can make sooo many things with just some noodles, cheese, and a veggie/meat/etc. i’d recommend learning basic cooking stuff if you can before moving on to meals, as once you know WHY you need to do xyz, it becomes easier to understand other recipes

just precut & cooked pieces i get from the frozen section bc that’s a whole other type of food i’d need to cook that idk if id have the energy to hahah. so i add the broccoli & the chicken to the sauce & let that all heat up together while my pasta is cooking. then, let the sauce simmer on a loww heat setting once it starts bubbling a bit until it’s all done
