
I see so much "I don't want to self diagnose" about this but the EDS community consensus is that if you think you might have it you should look at the criteria and if you score high something aint right and you're welcome to communicate with the EDS community without a diagnosis. A lot of us can't afford help, get gaslit, or have to wait for our condition to worsen to be taken seriously.
I have a *theory* that hypo-mobility in the presence of the other criteria is just a currently undiscovered presentation of it because there's not enough research🫣 my dad & his youngest brother & I all have the same typical hEDS presentation but my dad's middle brother is hypo-mobile and fits the rest of EDS criteria
