1- ew google ai 2- research person hyperfixation. You may get overly attached you people very quickly because they provide a dopamine burst instead of actually liking them. That plus just being a kind person and especially being overly empathetic can kinda speed run the processes for bonding

It seems like you just have very high empathy

I relate to most of what you said in the comments here, but not the trust, affection, or lack of social fear from your image. As someone with autism, every chance for me to make a new friend after connecting well with someone is extra valuable, since those moments are kinda uncommon. I think extra high empathy is common among people with autism too, and I definitely fit that.

I’m overly affectionate and empathetic, and love others too much. I don’t think I have William’s syndrome because that’s a chromosome disorder and has other effects, but I relate to the feeling about people I don’t know well as lifelong friends. I also have no boundaries or standards with whom I let into my life. Gonna talk about this in my next therapy session.

Just blocked someone from my school on here. They’re awful and I can’t wait to graduate and leave next year.

I also get this weird feeling in my chest, but it feels different than the butterflies in my stomach when I have a crush on someone, and is often accompanied by guilt, because I’ve found that if I’m overly kind or friendly to strangers it can be misinterpreted, and most people think it’s weird if I feel about them the same way I’d feel about a lifelong friend when I don’t know them well.

Forgot to mention that I also get attached really easily, even to random people on this app.

Do these feelings ever turn very negative? Are they ever accompanied by fear?

If it leads to bullying then yes. I also know that I’m going to get hurt, so I feel hurt even before I get hurt, and then when I actually get hurt I feel even more hurt.

Hmm, doesn’t seem extreme enough for borderline. Yeah, I’d talk to your therapist or psychiatrist about it

Ngl, it’s nice at first but it can become really terrible if they don’t reciprocate it

In 2026 you can’t do anything without people hating on you. Try to help people? Oh he doesn’t mean it (people think it’s weird to be overly friendly). The things people have said about me at my school are honestly really concerning.
