I’m frustrated by the anti-intellectualism taking off in this country. Like I worked really hard to overcome my learning disabilities to get my degree. I’m not arrogant or a nerd for being educated and well read. Why is ignorance so celebrated these days?

talking to people my age is so tiring 🫩 why do i have to explain common knowledge to an adult and half of the time they don’t even believe me. it’s not my fault you don’t know what a pigment is or how to calculate a percentage

Calling that anti-intellectualism is a sign of low-iq and projection as well as very high ego. Try hearing out the other peoples side before making assumptions that they’re just dumb -a former leftist

I’m genuinely confused on what you’re saying is “that” when you say “calling that anti-intellectualism” There’s a difference between hearing people out and actually agreeing with people. Humility is considering their side, it does NOT mean integrating it. You can consider it and still say “wow that’s bullshit”.
