Nah they probably do have adhd they’re just an asshole who thinks they do speak for all of us. Don’t let assholishness invalidate their diagnosis. They can be asses and adhd

Well, when it gets to the point, they’re telling me I’m making excuses and I’m being lazy. I highly doubt they have ADHD because that’s the stuff. I hear everyone else. Tell me who doesn’t have ADHD.

Or. They have adhd and internalized ableism from years of being told by their parents, teachers, and peers their symptoms weren’t real and they were just being lazy. And instead of learning more about their condition and educating themselves about it they just got sucked into the self hating cycle that’s common with having a diagnosis

I have absolutely heard that from people with ADHD, primarily people who aren’t in community with other people with ADHD (or not where they talk about their experiences, at least)
