Yeah you’ll be fine. I had one of them pulled straight out and it took like 2 days for it to be pretty healed. Had to have the other three surgically removed and even with a complication (I had planned to be put under but they had to use nitrous instead last min because I have shitty veins) it was honestly just very cozy feeling. Pulled a muscle in my jaw so it stayed swollen for a little longer than normal. Hurt like hell but I slept through most of those first 4 days on codeine.
not wisdom teeth for me but something similar and i was terrified, it ended up being fine! the anesthesia was super quick and i wasn’t doing any of the weird stuff you hear afterwards like saying weird things, just sleepy and wanted to go to bed. the worst part was that my pain meds made me SUPER sleepy!! can’t speak for recovery from wisdom teeth but the actual procedure was very chill, just in a different part of my mouth. you got this!!!
I had more problems with my root canal (muscle spasms for months) than getting all 4 wisdom teeth at once. It was my first time under general anesthesia so I was scared but nothing interesting happened. It hurt some for a few weeks but after about 2 days it wasn’t bad enough that it interfered with school or anything.
Definitely not something to be scared of! I felt next to no pain when I got mine pulled, the healing process is more just uncomfortable and annoying than painful since you can’t eat what you really want. But it heals pretty quickly and then you don’t have to worry about it ever again!
Not scary at all. Happened to me and thy drilled through the bone bc mine grew under the bone, and I was able to eat regular foods after two days. I was a bleeder though and bled a TONNE so if that happened to you it helps to put tea bags on the back spots where your teeth were pulled from and somehow it helps with coagulating the blood. Plus your blood-saliva mixture will taste like tea
Everything will be okay! Just make sure that you get your medicine filled as soon as you can (like on the way home from the doctors) and that your support person is someone you trust to take care of you, and keep your best interest at heart. You will be sore/swollen for a few days, so give yourself the time and space to rest. Definitely follow the recovery guidelines they give you as well, no straws, no gum until your stitches are healed! And if you’re especially anxious, don’t be afraid to …
