Literally that last bit is so important. It’s the fact that there have been so many instances where i misinterpreted I now don’t trust anything unless it’s extremely direct or straightforward otherwise I assume the plans are off lmfao

omggg i literally lost “friends” bc they were talking about going somewhere in front of me and they said “we should go to the movies”… they meant everyone but me, but i thought i was included so i asked “what movie are we watching?” and got berated… it was literally 6 years ago, but that stops me from saying anything unless im properly invited cuz it was such a horrible experience

Omg that’s so shitty wtf. I also hate when people make plans in front of me too cause unless they explicitly ask me to come, I assume I’m not invited. I didn’t quite have the same experience cause my “friends” let me come with but it was so clear they wished I wasn’t there.

i always ask because there were countless times that plans were made in front of me that i wasn’t invited to, but someone i was friends with a couple years ago said the asking was annoying because it was implied i was invited 🙃 you can never win

Nah see I’d be throwing hands at that cause how is someone gonna be mad at /you/ for clarifying if you’re invited or not when they’re the ones making plans in front of you????
