when I lived in california my mom would take me to the grocery store across the street from my english class to get lunch, and the store had a make your own sandwich option. I would get the veggie patty with pickles on french bread every time, and it was so GOOD and then one day they changed the kind of veggie patty they used and it did not taste the same and I was devastated and I still think about that sandwich every day because nothing will ever come close
