NOOO WHAT THE FUCK….They already merged Asperger’s, PDD-NOS, and autism into autism spectrum disorder. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s before that.

Yes I know and that makes sense. But that seems like all that was needed. Why do we need to also integrate ASD with ADHD? Yes they can occur together and have some overlap, yet they’re different. Imagine if they also included dyslexia with ASD. People can have ADHD or dyslexia and still not be overstimulated sensory wise or struggle socially (the second is the key defining characteristic of autism).
