This summer internship I got will only be able to pay $400-500 a month. Which does suck ass. But honestly given there’s free housing and food and they’re willing to accommodate me not having a car and it relates to my major I might take it.

Housing food and travel are the main expenses that drain your bank. I’d take it bc experience in your field is a gold mine nowadays. If you can I’d recommend taking it honestly

I would take it. I’m doing an unpaid internship but am getting $2000 from my school to help pay for expenses (it was a whole process). paid is def better than unpaid but if that’s the only thing holding you back, I’d still do it considering the free housing/food and not having to have a car.

All of my paychecks from my job go to housing, food, and tuition- that’s a literal gold mine my friend.

Imo that’s great money if you don’t have to pay for food and housing

My internship was for 4-H, a nonprofit organization, so it paid like $2 an hour. Better than your situation, but fuck it why not.

If you’re a good writer, create papers for students taking English classes during the summer. I charge $125 for A’s

Maybe just make sure you start applying for alternative jobs for after summer a month or two beforehand so you’re not out with nothing afterward
