It bothers me so much bc vintage fashion (and music) is a special interest of mine, but rarely do people ever “get” my outfits no matter how much research and effort I put into it. They always guess the era wrong, it’s just so frustrating. Idk if it’s my short hair throwing it off or my lack of accessories or something else entirely.

Tbf, paisley had a huge resurgence in the mid-late 80s. Fashion cycles, everything that was popular late 60s just got popular again in the late 80s. But I get your point
