Yes this. I wish I wasn’t told this so much when I was younger. I became a victim of grooming when I was 13 because I never saw the signs or thought anything was wrong when my teacher started pushing boundaries.

no, it’s a community of adults who should know better. being neurodivergent is not an excuse to either (1) cause real harm to others or (2) trivialize real harm caused to others. miss me with that ‘he he ha ha i’m just a silly little guy who doesn’t have to answer for their actions bc they have a disorder’ belittling of the real life consequences. we are bigger than that as a community, and it’s infantilizing.
