How are yall holding yourselves accountable for tasks? I can’t do things unless there’s a stressor (grades, money, etc) forcing me to do it. But that’s not sustainable. Any ideas?

I stuggle with this too. You need to fill your schedule with things you dont want to do but should do. Sounds counterintuitive but if you have an appointment at 4pm and you have nothing to do until then, you will do nothing until then. Then getting ready at 4 feels difficult. Morning routine helps massively with making tasks easier to do. Once you make your downtime a rarity, tasks become easier.

Attach a reward to it. Do one task get a piece of candy or something you’ve wanted to buy or watch an episode of a show you enjoy or a movie. Play a game for an hour or whatever you enjoy.

I’ve tried that but I’m not good at it. I can’t keep myself from just having the reward anyway lol
