Don’t worry. I didn’t have my first kiss until I was 19 and didn’t have my first real relationship until I was 21. People thought I was weird but like you said, it just hadn’t happened yet. And waiting is better than dating & doing stuff with people just because you don’t want to seem weird.

Don’t worry this is super common and normal. My sister (also Autistic) had her first serious girlfriend at 26 and is the last person I’d ever infantilize. Similarly, I haven’t dated in a very long time (and last time I did it was like… a teenage high school relationship) and don’t actively seek out romance at this point in my life. Love will either find you OR you’ll go out looking for it and find it on your terms.
