my psychiatrist keeps putting “eye contact: poor avoidant” in my visit summary is that bad? why would it matter, am I supposed to look at her more?

They are just writing down observations because it is their job.

I know that but I am wondering why it’s relevant, like she doesn’t put how often I, let’s say, look at the door, or how often I blink

If you’re being seen for certain conditions it is relevant to the condition, where as looking at the door or blinking is not. It is a common symptom of autism so it could be relevant to write it down.
