idk if this will work but if you start to have a suspicion, maybe the third time you see them after that ask them what their favorite color is (or something else kinda indicative that you care to know for the future, like sunrise vs. sunset, favorite song, first physical media owned, etc.) and see how they react. Usually people who have crushes will likely be glad you asked, heavy eye contact, and be pretty happy to respond — maybe with extra details that matter to them or a story along with it.
