It’s so nasty!! I don’t hold it back anymore. I tell them they need to keep their mouths closed and stop gulping, or I move. I have headphones on at family dinners for the scraping and chewing that’s right next to me (even if it’s closed-mouth).

But doesn’t everyone hate people open mouthed chewing loud enough to hear it and then it causes you to literally gag?? Like isn’t that something everyone hates😭 like what’s the difference between that and misophonia

Ah i see. I’ve avoided calling it that cause I just assume everyone hates it😭 what is the non misophonia way to hate loud chewing/ chewing with mouth open in that case cause I know that’s a super common thing???
