More often I'm annoyed by the haptics when unexpected. Like upvoting your post gave a mild haptic vibration that I hadn't noticed before and now I'm annoyed by it lol

Interesting. I find them to be comforting for some reason. Like, a satisfying stimulation that really subtle.
