How does one cope with a job that exposes me to a lot of triggers? I developed ptsd the past year due to some medical trauma. Like I love my job, I don’t want to quit, but working in healthcare means working with my biggest triggers.

honestly therapy. it can help you work through stuff like this and offer support but i would recommend someone who has experience with neurodivergent patients

Remember if you have a diagnosis you are entitled to reasonable accommodation! I personally went through something similar (working with high risk sped) and just spoke with my boss who was thankfully quick to accommodate. If that’s not possible HR would be the next route.

I want to be able to do my job again without break downs. I just got back this week after being on leave for a year. I want to go back to enjoying my job

I just got out of a year of hospital, residential, php, and IOP programs. I’ve been having difficulty finding a therapist that I can trust to fully work through the trauma
