The Grateful Dead being there is actually sooooo funny because my dad is autistic and his special interest is the Grateful Dead (he’s been to over 200 dead shows when Jerry was still alive and we have a Grateful Dead themed room in our house)

Mayer is the 🐐, and I’ve loved following his Dead & Company experience.

I’ve seen them a couple of times as an adult. Good shows. Not really into that as much as I’m into Mayer’s actual music, but I still enjoy it.

Absolutely! My Dad played guitar when I was a kid so I always heard him jamming in the basement and I’d come sit in a chair and listen to him play!

I wasn’t sold on Dead & Co when they first started but I think they found their stride! John is seriously shredding and he’s always a joy to see play!

Opposite for me lol. I really only listened to his Grateful Dead stuff rather than his solo stuff. But i found out recently he produced music for some artists I listen to like Kanye and Frank ocean which is super cool tbh

That’s so cool! I’m so glad your dad enjoys it so much! I’m a sucker for the Cornell ‘77 live version. Scarlet Begonias is my fav :] I feel like I lured everyone into a trap with this one XD

They put out an official cover album in 96 and my parents bought it (mom is a teacher and dad loves rock so of course they got it) so I grew up listening to the Deluxx Folk Implosion cover instead of the original lmao

I spotted it on the shelf at B&N while I was taking my wife there to pick up the new Vanity Fair issue with Pedro Pascal on the cover. But only saw a Bulbasaur cover. Then they had the good ones up at the checkout, so I snagged it. $15 was a bit much, but I’ve paid way more for a Charmander on numerous occasions.
