Do you think being bipolar qualifies as being neurodivergent? I feel neurodivergent but I don’t know if people would take me seriously if I said I was neurodivergent because I have bipolar :/

As someone who is bipolar, it 101% counts. It (can) mirror hardly every disorder; some examples being schizophrenia, adhd, and aspd’s, etc. as well as autism and other nd’s. Nobody ever talks about how uncertain it can be, they think it’s simply a mood disorder. I love my bipolar now, some days I get low, exhausted and paranoid, but it has been my superpower for years now and it’s only up from here. YOU GOT THIS! And you are welcomed by a community of people who get you! 🤗

You can let it destroy you or you can let it make you. Manage to grow and weed out the negative and you‘re left with some crazy drive and persistence, able to uphold things most cant. This is only Ime.
