Can anyone else like, lock in when they need to wake up for something? I’ve been getting up around 10 normally but I had orientation for something and got up at 7:30 easy peasy, but if I tried that any other day I wouldn’t be able to get up

No. In fact, my body can half consciously do things like turn off alarms, walk, argue, converse, etc so long as it ends with the result of sleep and when I really wake up I won’t remember a thing…. I’ve been resorting to putting my phone high up in my closet with the closet door open and have messed with my phones settings to allow my alarms to achieve max possible volume on an iPhone and honestly even that doesn’t work sometimes that doesn’t even actually wake me up properly…

that’s because apple phones have a weird glitch that makes them just not make the alarm noise sometimes, it’s completely random and there’s no fix so just invest in an actual alarm clock
