I want to be in love. At least once. I’ve never felt it before. I want to go on cute dates with a man I love with all my heart and lay together and talk for hours. But I have such high standards. It’ll never happen

trust me girl i’ve settled and dated an evil man. it was horrible and ruined my perception of love. you keep your standards up and the right one will come to you.

100% can relate to the experience of wanting to be loved. It is something I desire as well, but I got to keep it real; I’m a guy so I’m coming at this from a different experience. If I could offer some advice(if it’s helpful at all) love can come from other places, and that’s something that keeps me going at least

I understand what you mean. For me, I’ve dated—but I struggle so much with emotional attachment. So, having dealt with that—I’ve never been able to find someone, but I crave it.

I can’t truly love someone if they don’t meet every one of my standards. They’re nothing crazy. Empathetic, masculine, attractive, sensitive, loving, etc. Just hard to find every one of them in one person

What in my post made it sound like I haven’t tried at all to seek a boyfriend? I’ve tried and failed a million times. Hence my frustration and yearning for something real 🙄
