One thing that kinda bugs me and Ive seen it happening for years. When someone passes away, people post on social media a repost of a tribute post or announcement on their story. But then on the story they address the person who died directly.

I would instead address the people closest to the person. Like they’re dead they’re not gonna know you’re talking to them on social media.

i don’t think it’s meant in a bad way, i think everyone has a different way of coping, especially if it’s someone you knew but aren’t super close with their friends and family. sometimes it can be helpful to feel like you are talking to them directly even if they aren’t here anymore
