BOTH good friends. They were just both in bad positions. Your other friend knew you WOULDN’T want to know so withheld it. And the friend that told you knew it was so grave that you SHOULD know (even if you didn’t want to know.) So the friend who could bear to tell you, (even though you really didn’t want to know) gave you gossip. Go easy on both of them ☺️

okay i told him i was gonna tell the other friend that i know bc the guilt would kill me, we talked about it and now i am glad i know bc i have context now and stuff is making way more sense

Yay! And yes, I think it was a tricky situation to navigate. And, I hope everyone is okay. Secrets can be burdensome and it sucks to be left out the loop…even if for your own protection.
