Why is it that we get in trouble for the things other people do? For example if I’m on my phone at work it’s a problem but everyone else can and it’s not an issue

It’s all about context. A lot of people will use their phones in areas where cameras won’t see, or they’ll be conscious about hiding it, or using it in really quick bursts in a “trying to be subtle” way. They at least look like they’re trying to follow the rules even if they’re not, whereas you sound like you weren’t trying to be sneaky about breaking the rules, and probably got your wrist slapped. It’s about learning when and how and why you can bend the rules without breaking them entirely.

Literally use it the same way they do but I’m getting called out for it and they aren’t. I use the blind spots too

Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s because of the autism. They’ve done studies where neurotypicals instantly avoid or start off with a more negative view of someone who is autistic instead of neurotypical
