Has anyone else had this experience where you go to try something you remember being so fucking good as a kid and it tastes like straight up chemicals. So many processed things taste Worse and I don’t think it’s just me growing up and not being as into it

Yeah. Hawaiian Punch fruit punch. I used to love it, then I came back and it was like sugar in a can. 2/10 drink

Cosmic brownies. I remember kids foaming at the mouth over them. Tried one recently and it was like someone whispered the word chocolate over a brick of air dry clay.

Honestly I’ve never had *that* experience, since my mother was a health nut, and my father would “treat us” to fruit punch cans when she wasn’t home. So like honestly the only really gross sweets were Hawaiian Punch and Sunny D
