Do any other autistic and anxious people find it uncomfortable when people decide to stand directly behind you? Especially when there is literally so much space for people not to do that? It just feels creepy

I would find it weird to not be creeped out by this but I am anxious and accusedly autistic

I’ve noticed this happens to me a lot. A few times I almost step into the person and they go “woah don’t step into me.” But I’d be in an open wide space, not standing in a line or anything, taking not even a small footstep back. If you’re so close that I can’t even take a step back, I feel like you’re too close. I’d get it if it was a concert or maybe even while standing in a line ig

So many people do this to me where I live and I have no idea why but it’s so creepy. I don’t understand what is wrong with people

I’ve thought about shoving them but what made me not do that was that I felt like all the ableist egotistical people in my town would probably use that against me and try to say I was being “aggressive.”

Unfortunately people here don’t do anything when I glare at them. They are odd people here
