My friend is autistic and he works with the special needs program at his school as a teacher because he knows what it’s like to be the student and wants to do better by these kids. The best reason to become a teacher tbh. To help others having it better than you.

I want a career in psychology first but I know when I retire from that I want to be a middle school math teacher. I was bullied so badly by math teachers (turns out I have a visual/spatial processing disorder 🙄) for not being as quick and I want to be the teacher I never had! Patience, love, and understanding. Plus I like math 🤓
