1. I always carry a notebook in my back pocket! Moleskine Volant (hard to find, they don’t make them anymore). I have a pen in my front pocket and i write stuff down so it doesn’t leave my head. Works better than my phone (personally, it all gets lost in there). I’ve got stickers on it and it’s really durable but also flexible which is why i like those specific type! About the size of my phone

Fuck it, just create your self an Ai Agent to be your Neurodivergence Assistant. No one can actually help anyone change my mind

2. I set most of my clocks (car, bedroom) a few minutes ahead. Even if i know they’re ahead it still helps me be on time for things i HAVE to be on time for (like the bus)

3. I decide when and when not to take my medication very specifically. If i have no tasks i don’t take it because it makes me anxious and pent up. If i have tasks it really helps! I like vyvanse because i have less of a crash at the end of the day but if adderall works for you, that’s great! You can take it every day obviously but i find taking a break sometimes helps me

4. (If you’re a student) i do NOT TAKE NOTES ON MY LAPTOP. it was a hard switch back to handwriting but i get distracted too easily. And i can draw in the margins :) i have a notebook for every class but if i forget a specific notebook for a class i have i use another notebook and then cut out those notes and tape into the right notebook. I definitely get less distracted than i used to

5. My ingenious invention, micro naps! Feeling tired? Set a timer (5-30 mins based on how much time you have) and PRETEND to sleep. Close your eyes, get comfy, don’t move, pretend to be asleep. You’ll feel rested after even if you didn’t sleep. I do it in my bed, my car, even in the library. Works very well
