As a late bloomer, I've rudely come to the realization that dating another neurodivergent person doesn't mean direct communication is going to happen.

This is not true. My fiance and I are both neurodivergent and we prioritize clear communication it is a hallmark of our relationship. Find someone you can be open with and it will happen

It *can* happen but dating another neurodivergent person (or just being friends, roommates, etc) doesn’t *automatically* mean direct communication will happen Neurodivergent people have ranges just as neurotypical people

Just like any relationship you have to prioritize that.
