For people that hate sunscreen bc of sensory issues, the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch 55 spf sunscreen has worked for me! It’s like a watery lotion not greasy like other sunscreens are for me

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Japanese sunscreens over anything western- the texture is so much better and they protect against both UVA and UVB rays (western sunscreen only does UVA or UVB but not both)

I was able to put it on my hands (which never is possible for me) AND put my bracelets/rings on just like 5ish minutes after!

here are some of the best ones, you can get them on Amazon or Stylevana/ other beauty shops online that have Asian products. I prefer these to Korean sunscreens because they are water resistant and are less expensive with usually double the amount of sunscreen

100% agree, as a kid i refused to go outside during summer because i hated sunscreen so much - but a few years ago i found the neutrogena dry touch and it doesn’t bother me at all!! sun bum is also pretty good ive found

Ok let me also add that the Off Sensitive skin (it’s in a purple and white bottle) bug spray is almost completely unscented and doesn’t have a greasy feel!

YEAAAAAA, never used that before but I HATE sunscreen. If you have any recs for lotion too that aren’t oily for too long those would also be great

I have issues with sunscreen and I found sprays to be the most tolerable

yeah neutrogena leaves a white cast on darker skin unfortunately. most Japanese and Korean sunscreens do not thought and are specifically labeled as such

Can 100% agree with this! I was in Korea when I tried a Korean sunscreen and it was so smooth and light

I was just shopping for one. I was going to rebuy the Aussie Gold again but it takes forever to get shipped. Should I try it then? Is it tinted like BB cream?

I mean, if it’s labeled “broad spectrum” that means it’s rated for protection against both uva and uvb, which is most sunscreens that I’ve seen in stores - someone in the US

No it’s completely clear, it’s a very sheer formula

whoops you are totally right, I got confused because the approved chemical filters in the US are either/or (avobenzone protect against UVA, while octinoxate and octisalate protect against UVB) so broad spectrum contains all of the above, but in a lot of Asian sunscreens they use different filters that protect against both and don’t break down as quickly
