Piles! Separate into the most basic of piles and then work on each one. I just did a reorganization of my room and my piles were things that need to be rarely accessed, sometimes accessed, often accessed, and things to go outside my room. Having those broad categories helped so I didn’t get too much in the details too fast. Then I worked on each pile one by one and divided them further
