if abnormal things are impacting your daily life in a bothersome way, it never hurts to get evaluated! i've found the best way to not get this (bad doctors are bad doctors, sometimes you do just have to find someone who takes you seriously) is by leading strictly by your most prominent symptoms (less than 5 or else it gets "too crazy" for them sometimes) and how they are impacting you. do not indicate what you think you could have. doctors favoriteeeee thing is figuring it out "alone" :)
As someone with an ASD diagnosis, I think that knowing neurodivergence is impacting your well being is all the more reason to have an evaluation. They wouldn’t just diagnose you and leave you to figure it out, they’ll tell you exactly where you’re struggling and what changes you can make to your life to best support your needs.
