My endocrinologist said my “anxiety symptoms” are actually not anxiety at all. It’s actually problems with my vitamin D and Calcium levels. Apparently, that can cause stiffness in the legs and twitching in specific areas of the legs.

Apparently apparently, also according to my endocrinologist it’s also caused by 22q. My genetic disorder. The more you know I guess 🤷

When I said twitching in legs, I meant to say twitching in specific areas of the hands.

Wait, I would get stiffness in legs only on Saturdays after working myself to death all week with no sleep and passing out on Friday night until Saturday for 12+ hours. I would make up and feel like a deer who has not learned how to walk yet. I think my doctor did mention something about calcium.

Yeah apparently an imbalance in calcium can be a problem. In my case, I have to be careful because I have digeorge syndrome. So I’m more susceptible to health issues caused by calcium and vitamin D problems
