my therapist who i love and have seen for over two years tried to tell me to use ai today… i looked at her like she was insane and she was like no hear me out and i completely stopped listening

In programing there is a process called rubber duck programing, you explain your code to a rubber duck and it helps you troubleshoot your problems by talking through it without wasting a person’s time. I see Ai like that. That said, if you’d feel better talking to a stuffed animal or a pet rock go for it!

Yeah, I’d be very careful. Slippery slope into having it do the work. Especially when you’re stuck.

Honestly there is a way to get unstuck where I ask Ai the question, and bc it’s so wrong and doesn’t help, I get so frustrated that I just do the thing on my own. This is a similar process to asking the nearest person for help/running it by then, to get out of ur thoughts

Rubber ducks don’t run on plagiarism or kick people out of their homes for data centers that cause massive environmental damage. Please switch to an actual pet rock
