I’m starting to creep into the feeing of alcoholism and that kind of scares me I just want to be diagnosed and to get my brain working properly and not self medicate with substances, I feel like I’m losing my mind

What's barring you from diagnosis? (I'm a very mentally ill individual who descended into full-blown alcoholism over the course of 9 years, and have been sober for 1.5yrs, hmu 🤙)

Addiction is morally neutral. It’s a symptom of underlying issues, not a personal failing. I hope you’re able to find better solutions and get help in the form you need it ❤️‍🩹

insurance and family issues but I’m hoping to start scheduling therapy sessions next month if all goes to plan, I’m just really hoping I make actual progress this time
