I think managers playing the same playlist every day at any customer service job is genuinely psychological warfare on employees. Some people don’t mind but personally I feel like im going insane when I hear the most ass song 5 times in an 11 hour shift

Dude one time my boss found an “abba playlist” but it was only 6 songs and she played it for an entire lunch service

whatever radio system we use has plenty of songs, but even if it doesn’t repeat within the same day, it’s pretty deja vu inducing to hear the same two songs while doing the same task at the same point in my shift every couple days

And she would constantly play playlists that were only covers of songs. I HATE covers

Omg I am so sorry… that is truly diabolical.. I used to work at a cafe that was mostly breakfast but was open late and did have lunch/dinner food I never worked nights but if I had to stay later during a morning shift the same playlist every day would shift to only covers it was awful im thankful that rarely happened to me

depends on how long your shifts are but it never hurts to add more songs tbh
